Explore the heart of the Gower Peninsula with a romantic retreat or an active break at this warm and welcoming property located on a working livery. One of two holiday lets on site, the property comes complete with its own private hot tub in the garden. The front door opens into an open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with patio doors leading to the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped for culinary adventures, and the dining table is set for intimate meals. Unwind on the comfortable sofa in the lounge, indulge in a good book, or snuggle up to watch a film on the TV. Upstairs, the spacious bedroom comes with a king size bed for a restful night s sleep. Take your time to relax in a bubble bath or enjoy an invigorating shower in the elegant bathroom with beautiful views over the garden and beyond. Outside, the enclosed garden at the rear is the perfect spot for al fresco dining on the patio with its table and chairs. For an extra touch of luxury, take a sumptuous soak in the hot tub while enjoying the rural views. If you re an enthusiastic cyclist, you ll find the lockable bicycle store comes in handy. This designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty provides exceptional opportunities for walking, mountain biking, and local hacking. Wander or ride for miles uninterrupted by traffic thanks to the bridleways that link Welshmoor Common and Llanrhidian Marsh to the stunning beaches at Oxwich Bay and Three Cliffs Bay. It s also a superb area for wildlife watching, with wild ponies, birds, and sea life to discover. Make sure to visit Weobley and Oxwich Castles (both within 6 miles), the Gower Heritage Centre (3.5 miles) and, further afield, the National Botanic Gardens of Wales (22 miles). Lovely and quiet which was just what we wanted away from any fireworks as the dog hates them. Unfortunately the owners have decided against allowing dogs in the future though so wont be able to return to this place. The food in the village pub was fantastic. 15-20minutes max drive to everywhere on the Gower we wanted to visit. Some fantastic beache s to walk the dog. Hot tub a bonus afterwards. Would recommend

Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Crickton Farm Cottage. The cottage was cosy and well-equipped for a week's stay. The toiletries were a nice touch! Well-situated to explore the Gower, it was lovely to come back to a dip in the hot tub. Owners are welcoming and always available for a bit of information. We loved the horses and dogs and would not hesit ate to recommend this cottage. Can recommend the food and ale at the "Welcome Inn", a mile down the road.

The cottage was in a great location, 10-15mins from most beaches. The owners were really helpful and great with communications and flexible with check in/out times. The hot tub was hot ready for use when we arrived, and the little extras like slippers very lovely touches. Great stay over all.
