Surrounded by four and a half acres of tranquil Welsh countryside, this stylish, light and spacious villa makes a fabulous holiday retreat for larger families and groups of friends looking for an elegant and relaxing hideaway. Offering sumptuous accommodation for up to 22 guests across ten pretty bedrooms, the property has a wealth of fantastic features including a soothing private hot tub, a sauna, conservatory, games tables, trampoline and piano. Perfect for exploring the beautiful countryside and stunning coastline of Ceredigion, this stunning getaway provides a wonderful backdrop for family get togethers and reunions. Entering the villa, the hallway features a piano before leading through to a beautiful lounge with a pebble effect electric fire, comfortable seating and a large TV perfect for movie nights. The elegant central kitchen/diner provides a fabulous spot for preparing and enjoying family feasts. The dining table shares the conservatory area with the pool table which sits next to a games room with a retro arcade table, casino table and air hockey table. Exploring the ground floor further, you will find a stylish bathroom and six tastefully decorated bedrooms, all with TVs and three with en suite facilities. Two separate staircases lead up into the eaves of the house where you will find four further bedrooms (two en suite). Outside, the large private garden has a patio, BBQ and ample seating as well as a trampoline and swing ball. You can also luxuriate in the private hot tub room, complete with a sauna and shower. The popular coastal resort of New Quay (9.5 miles) has a lovely beach and some great pubs and restaurants, with opportunities nearby for dolphin spotting boat trips, sailing, power boating, windsurfing and kayaking. Other local attractions include the Dolaucothi Gold Mines, Norwood Gardens and Afon Mel Honey Farm and Meadery, all within 16 miles.

this is what i wanted for our family get together plenty of room. lovely house plenty to do. country walk which i enjoyed. 20 mins from new quay by car. with fishing and dolphin watching. shop 6 miles away which was a bind, but asda delivered. on time so had everything we needed. really enjoyed the holiday, could of done with another week to go out and explore more. any problems the owner was on call straight away. and turned up daily to check water quality of hot tub. worth the money.

Large, modern and comfortable bedrooms, bathrooms and showers excellent. Just some occasional issues with water pressure which we were warned about. Well laid our with the focal point being the kitchen/dining area. Games area is amazing with pool tournaments our favourite. Would definitely recommend to any large family group wanting some valuable r econnection time. Just watching the variety of local bird and animal life was a highlight.

The owners were lovely who met us upon arrival explained everything in the house for us before hand. Its a lovely cottage and enough space for all 18 of our party with also having 3 dogs. Fab place to stay for both adults and children. The games room and especially the retro games table were a big hit with the kids. Plus the trampoline in the garden. The adults made good use of the jacuzzi and sauna! We would thoroughly recommend it for a large family get together like ours. The 12 adults and 6 children were easily accommodated. More than enough space. We were a group of 16 and could easily chill out and relax in the large kitchen, to lounge and if sunny outside around the very large table. The hot tub as great fun, the owners regularly checking the water to ensure all was up to scratch. Marks out if 10-11!

A lovely property with excellent facilities. The hosts Andy and Claire were very helpful and friendly. We were very pleasantly surprised by the spacious layout and by how clean everywhere was. Full marks to the cleaners who only have a few hours between lets. Headroom is a little restricted due to slopping ceilings upstairs so not ideal for six foo ters but don't be put off by that, there are plenty of bedrooms downstairs and you wouldn't want to miss out on this gem.

what can i say? it was a glorious holiday at pontfaen villa. the villa is big and spacious enough, and full of everything you need on a self catering vacation. Andy and Claire were fantastic and very helpful. the area is so beautiful and peaceful with nature being prominant and very little traffic noise. the village nearby has a garage store if you need anything, and the town of lampeter is only a short ride away. overall it was a wonderful vacation. highly recommended.

For a large gathering/getaway can not fault Pontfaen Villa. Property is immaculate and has everything you could want or need whatever the ages of party. Pictures really do not do the property justice. Would not hesitate to recommend this property. We were a party of 18 and had all the space that we needed and much more. We visited Ponfaen over Easter for my son's 18th birthday celebrations, there were 19 of us plus a dog and we all had an amazing time. The house is beautifully well kept with plenty of space, plus the added bonus of a hot tub and trampoline which were very well used. The bedrooms were all of a high standard with comfy beds and plenty of storage, an d the large outdoor space was brilliant for the kids to let off some steam. It was just perfect for what we wanted and we would definitely stay again!
